The assessment was conducted in the following irrigation schemes:
- Kajevuba
- Jabana
- Nyagisenyi – Rufigiza
- Bishenyi
- Rwabashyashya
- Gikoro
Some of the crops grown in these irrigation schemes include: Rice, Maize, Tomatoes and various other vegetables.

The inspection was aimed at assessing the condition of the crops grown during this growing season, taking into account the challenges involved and providing various recommendations to increase yields. Generally, the crops grown in these fields are in good condition because despite the rain they were late in the fall trying to irrigate their crops.
