NO AGRICULTURE, NO FOOD! NO FOOD, NO LIFE!

About Horticulture in Reality Corporation

Our Motto: No Agriculture, No Food! No Food, No Life.

Horticulture in Reality Corporation Ltd (HoReCo) is a Rwandan agri-business company led by agricultural professionals trained in Israel. Our expertise lies in horticulture development and value chains, irrigation technology, agricultural mechanization, and youth capacity building in agriculture.

HoReCo is committed to improving the livelihoods of Rwandans by transforming agriculture from subsistence-based practices to modern, market-driven farming. We achieve this by delivering innovative agricultural extension services that integrate sustainable crop production with advanced irrigation technologies.

HoReCo was founded in alignment with Rwanda's national policies and strategies aimed at engaging youth in the country's development. The idea to establish HoReCo was born on June 10, 2016, by ten young, dedicated entrepreneurs who had completed an 11-month practical agricultural training program in Israel. What began as a cooperative named Horticulture in Reality Cooperative was later upgraded and officially registered as a company on July 25, 2019, under the name Horticulture in Reality Corporation Ltd (HoReCo) with the Rwanda Development Board (RDB).
