Rwanda Agricultural Show 2026: HoReCo Showcases Innovation and Strategic Partnerships for Agri-Food Systems Transformation
Horticulture in Reality Corporation Ltd (HoReCo) actively participated in the Rwanda Agricultural Show 2026, showcasing innovative agricultural technologies, projects, and interventions contributing to the transformation of Rwanda’s agri-food systems.
Held from July 22 to 31, 2026, at the Mulindi Show Ground in Gasabo District, Kigali City, the exhibition brought together more than 600 exhibitors under the theme: “Accelerating Agri-Food Systems Transformation through Innovation and Strategic Partnerships.”
During the 10-day event, more than 10,000 visitors stopped at the HoReCo stand to discover its interventions, interact with the team, and learn about practical solutions supporting farmers and young people across Rwanda’s agriculture sector.
HoReCo showcased key interventions in irrigation development and management, horticulture, mechanization, agribusiness development, youth employment, capacity building, and innovative agricultural technologies. The exhibition provided an opportunity to demonstrate how these interventions are helping farmers improve productivity, strengthen value chains, and move towards more sustainable and market-oriented agriculture.
The importance of innovation and partnerships was also emphasized by the Minister of Agriculture and Animal Resources, Dr. Telesphore Ndabamenye, during the official opening of the 19th Rwanda Agricultural Show. He urged farmers and agricultural stakeholders to adopt innovative technologies and strengthen strategic partnerships to accelerate sustainable agri-food systems transformation.
The Minister highlighted the contribution of agriculture and livestock to Rwanda’s economy and encouraged farmers to apply the knowledge and technologies gained from the exhibition to improve productivity during the upcoming 2027A agricultural season.
For HoReCo, the strong engagement of more than 10,000 visitors demonstrated the growing interest in agricultural innovation and practical solutions. The exhibition also strengthened opportunities for knowledge sharing, networking, collaboration, and partnerships with farmers, young people, private sector actors, development partners, and other stakeholders.
HoReCo’s participation reaffirmed its commitment to advancing innovation, technology, youth engagement, and strategic partnerships for a more productive, inclusive, resilient, and sustainable agri-food sector in Rwanda.
