Today, in the Huye district, a three-day farmer training program concluded. The farmers received education on good agricultural practices, as well as how to effectively manage farmer cooperatives and water user organisations.
At the end of the training program for farmers who work in different irrigation schemes, organised by the OMMIS/HoReCo project across the districts of Nyamagabe, Nyaruguru, Huye, and Gisagara, the CEO of HoReCo, Mr. Richard Bucyana, provided additional advice to the farmers, in addition to the training they received over three days. Additionally, two farmers who performed exceptionally well in their courses and passed the end-of-course test were rewarded by the CEO of HoReCo.
