The third day of the National Agricultural Exhibition (Agri-Show) held at the Mulindi Center of Excellence in Gasabo District marked a significant milestone for Rwanda’s agricultural sector. HoReCo was proud to be among the key exhibitors, showcasing its impactful work in agricultural extension, irrigation management, farmers’ cooperative support, and youth engagement in agribusiness.
This year’s Agri-Show brought together a wide range of stakeholders in the agriculture sector, including government institutions, private companies, development partners, and farmers from across the country. The event offered an excellent platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and the promotion of innovations aimed at transforming agriculture in Rwanda.

The day was graced by the Honorable Minister of Agriculture, who officially launched the Agri-Show and delivered inspiring remarks. In his address, the Minister emphasized the importance of collaboration, innovation, and inclusive participation—particularly of youth and women—in driving sustainable agricultural growth.
At the HoReCo stand, visitors had the opportunity to learn about our various initiatives, including:
- Proximity coaching and extension services that empower smallholder farmers to adopt best practices.
- Smart irrigation schemes that enhance water use efficiency in marshlands and hillside areas.
- Capacity building programs that strengthen farmers’ cooperatives and youth agripreneurs.
- Innovation in Agriculture using animated videos with the support our partners SAWBO.

Our participation in the Agri-Show reflects HoReCo’s continued commitment to agricultural transformation in Rwanda through innovation, partnerships, and farmer-first solutions.
We extend our sincere gratitude to the Ministry of Agriculture and Animal Resources (MINAGRI), the Rwanda Agriculture and Animal Resources Development Board (RAB), and all partners who made this event a success.
Stay tuned as we continue to share more highlights from the Agri-Show 2025!
