HoReCo in collaboration with SOLID Africa, continued efforts to boost productivity in the Bahimba

This past week, HoReCo, in collaboration with SOLID Africa, continued efforts to boost productivity in the Bahimba Irrigation Scheme through:

✅ Proximity coaching on seed selection, land prep, and fertilizer use
✅ 193 ha of land tilled; 100 ha already planted for Season C2025
✅ Post-harvest maize handling: 183T delivered to market
✅ 2,712 farmers engaged in canal cleaning (10km cleared)
✅ Awareness on GAP: spacing, lime, manure & fertilizer application
✅ Farmer savings reinforced via Ejo Heza
✅ ToTs & technical teams met to enhance maize collection strategies and validate training modules for Season A & C2025.
